Social fiction? Seriously?

Some time ago an author set out to write an entire book using Twitter. It was less than successful since Twitter is a "short form" medium not applicable for "long form" prose. Undaunted, or unaware, along comes a former Nickelodeon animator and a Facebook employee teaming up to use social media for fiction.


The story is based around a character named Hawk Funn, which is bound to elicit groans and rolled eyes from anyone over the age of 10, and the artwork is about what you'd expect as well. However, I do applaud innovative uses of any medium to promote reading. Click on the image for the full story:
