Neil Gaiman recounts some personal details about Gene Wolfe

Science fiction and fantasy author Gene Wolfe has influenced dozens of writers with his crossover genre styles, thick prose and first-person narrators who don't always give a straight story. He was never a bestselling author but he was popular with fans and critics and was awarded numerous literary prizes. Here are a few personal notes by Neil Gaiman in the introduction to his short story A Lunar Labyrinth, included in a just released tribute anthology Shadows of the New Sun.
